Bulgarian Police Re-Activate Campaign Of Harrassment And Intimidatation Of Members Of UMO "Ilinden" Pirin

In the last few weeks Bulgarian police have re-activated a campaign of harassment and intimidation of members of UMO "Ilinden" PIRIN in the Blagoevgrad and
Simitli districts of Bulgaria.
The Ministry of the Interior has identified 180 members of UMO Ilinden PIRIN to be interrogated by the police. Such persons have been told that it is obligatory for
them to attend an interview, without being given a reason why, only being told that they are being called as witnesses. When the interviewees ask the police for the
name of the accused, there is no answer. Some have been told orally to attend police stations without written notification.

among the security services,and I would say in the Bulgarian society as a whole, that against them could be taken any unlawful action without any
consequences including phisical violance.”

Почит Към Гоце - 4 Май 2008 Г. Благоевград

На 4 май т. г. Председателството и Централния съвет на ОМО “Илинден” - ПИРИН поставиха цветя пред паметника на македонския революционер Гоце Делчев в
Благоевград и с кратко слово, и едноминутно мълчание почетоха паметта му.
За разлика от друг път сега властите не направиха проблеми, така че за пръв път в Благоевград на пиринци бе позволено свободно да упражнят правото
си на свобода на словото. Видя се, че когато властите не нарушават законите и правата на гражданите мероприятията на партията минават без проблеми.
За цивилизованото протичане на това събитие допринесе и отсъствието на дежурната малобройна хулиганска агитка на т. нар. ВМРО БНД.

Събор в чест на Яне Сандански в Мелник

НА 20 април т. г. в Мелник тържествено и с достойнство бе отбелязана 93-годишнината от убийството на Яне Сандански. Въпреки миналогодишните проблеми,
присъстваха над 500 души от ОМО “Илинден” - ПИРИН, Македонско християнско братство “Св. Пророк Илия”, ТМО ВМРО (независима) “Илинден”. Освен тях сред
организаторите бяха и в. “Народна воля” и бюлетинът “Македонски глас”.

Годишна Генерална Асамблея на EFA
07/05/2008:
От 9 до 12 април т. г. в Палма де Майорка се проведе Генералната асамблея на EFA. Домакини бяха PSM-Entesa. За пръв път ОМО “Илинден” - ПИРИН
участва като пълноправен член и можеше да гласува за всички предложения.
Обсъдени бяха отчетът, промени в ръководството и бюджетът на Алианса, неплатеният членски внос (нашата партия е сред редовно изпълняващите
задълженията си) и други финансови проблеми. Приет бе бюджетът за 2008 г. и планувани дейности през следващата година.

EFA strongly condemns Greece's continual destabilising and unfriendly behaviour

Greece's decision to veto an initiation to the Republic of Macedonia to join NATO is an irresponsible act motivated by its refusal to
recognise the existence of a distinct Macedonian ethnic identity in the Republic of Macedonia as well as in Greece.
The European Free Alliance (EFA) strongly condemns Greece's decision last week to veto an invitation to the Republic of Macedonia to
join NATO.
